Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, samples, and pharmaceuticals to and from hospitals, labs, and clinics in the Laredo area.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance for both the vehicle and personal uniform.
- Ensure strict compliance with all HIPAA regulations, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Update digital tracking systems in real-time to ensure complete visibility of shipments.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure road readiness.
- Handle sensitive documentation and ensure accurate delivery logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and handheld scanners.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
