- Safely transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to hospitals, labs, and medical facilities.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA guidelines and company protocols to ensure patient confidentiality and specimen integrity.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to track delivery status in real-time.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with all local and state traffic laws.
- Verify patient information and delivery details before signing off on all packages.
- Handle sensitive materials with care, ensuring temperature control where necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3-5 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle in good working condition.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for handling handheld delivery devices.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
