Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment safely and securely from medical facilities to laboratories and other healthcare sites.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and mileage using company-provided GPS and scanning equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including temperature control for sensitive materials and proper handling of biohazardous waste.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals and patients during every interaction.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT guidelines.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable personal vehicle (SUV or larger) with current insurance and registration.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote-friendly capacity.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and specimen handling procedures.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and mobile devices.
