Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, samples, and documents to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories within strict time windows.
- Maintain the cleanliness of company vehicles and adhere to strict sanitation protocols for medical handling.
- Use handheld scanners and GPS technology to track deliveries and ensure accurate logging of all shipments.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies regarding driving and specimen handling.
- Verify patient identities and ensure the secure handling of sensitive medical records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanning devices.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
