Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals between hospitals, clinics, and laboratories
- Maintain precise delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and biohazard safety standards
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely temperature-controlled deliveries
- Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and healthcare providers
- Handle specialized packages including blood products, tissue samples, and temperature-sensitive medications
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or logistics
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and navigate hospital corridors
- Proficient in smartphone navigation apps and basic tech systems
