As a Medical Courier, you will play a vital role in patient care by ensuring that vital samples arrive at the lab on time and intact. Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to and from medical facilities in a timely and secure manner.
- Adhere to strict DOT and OSHA regulations regarding the handling of biohazardous materials and patient privacy.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the safety and reliability of the delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally with hospital staff, patients, and medical personnel to facilitate smooth deliveries.
- Uphold company standards for punctuality, appearance, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for navigating delivery software and logging hours.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
