Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, blood products, and critical supplies between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control and chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive materials
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning and real-time tracking
- Complete detailed documentation and electronic manifests for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients during deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance reporting
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate temperature-controlled units
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery windows
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and specimen handling
- Pass background check and drug screening
