Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between clinics, labs, and hospitals
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized packaging
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain chain-of-custody documentation
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient routing while maintaining strict delivery timelines
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch and healthcare partners
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred but not required
- Experience in medical transport, logistics, or healthcare supply chain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical packaging and biohazard handling
- Pass background check and drug screening
