Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and critical documents using company vehicles
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Follow HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protection
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain electronic logs
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical partners
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with medical specimen handling preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Reliable transportation to and from depot (company vehicles provided during shifts)
- Background check and drug screening required
