Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and supplies to hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Document all deliveries with electronic manifests and handle required paperwork
- Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while navigating Milwaukee traffic efficiently
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and navigate various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to punctuality
- Basic familiarity with medical terminology and biohazard handling
- Proficient with GPS technology and mobile delivery applications
- Background check and drug screening clearance
