Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and sensitive documents between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody protocols
- Manage inventory tracking and documentation for all shipments
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness
- Coordinate with medical staff for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with adaptability and professionalism
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and navigate various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical handling procedures and biohazards
- Pass background check and drug screening
- 1+ years experience in medical or courier logistics preferred
