Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab equipment between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive shipments using specialized containers
- Verify documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance at all delivery points
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation for timely and efficient deliveries
- Provide real-time tracking updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
- Perform vehicle pre-trip inspections and maintain cleanliness
- Resolve delivery discrepancies with professionalism and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Experience handling medical specimens or pharmaceutical shipments preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and biohazard handling protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
