Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceutical supplies between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict temperature control for temperature-sensitive materials during transit
- Complete accurate documentation and tracking of all shipments using our digital system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Follow established safety protocols for handling biohazard materials
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical transport protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with punctuality as a top priority
- Experience with GPS navigation and delivery tracking software
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous medical or courier experience preferred
