Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive shipments using specialized containers
- Document all transfers with electronic manifests and chain-of-custody protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and OSHA safety regulations at all times
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling (training provided)
