Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for handling sensitive patient information
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for timely pickups and deliveries across the Kansas City metro
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure equipment calibration
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with urgency and professionalism
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Previous medical courier or healthcare logistics experience preferred
- OSHA bloodborne pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with mobile technology and GPS navigation
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
