Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab equipment using company vehicles
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Verify recipient information and obtain proper signatures for all deliveries
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality protocols
- Document all deliveries using electronic tracking systems
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Previous courier or medical logistics experience preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical transport protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile technology
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
