Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals to healthcare facilities
- Maintain temperature-controlled environments for sensitive materials
- Document all deliveries with electronic tracking systems
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard protocols
- Coordinate with lab staff and medical facilities for timely pickups/deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory of medical supplies during transit
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical logistics or healthcare transport
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Proficient with GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
