Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceutical products between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols for all medical cargo
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
- Document all transactions using digital tracking systems and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Monitor and maintain proper temperature control for sensitive medical materials
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients
- Perform vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance before/during shifts
- Adapt to urgent delivery requests while maintaining service quality standards
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience with medical specimen handling or healthcare logistics preferred
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and digital delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
