- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and sensitive documents in temperature-controlled containers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation
- Navigate efficiently using GPS while meeting strict delivery time windows
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain clean, organized transport equipment
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and receiving facilities regarding delivery status
- Handle confidential materials with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year courier or medical transport experience
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification preferred
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
