Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality protocols for all sensitive materials
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
- Complete accurate paperwork and digital tracking for each shipment
- Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff regarding delivery status
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards for handling biohazard materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical transport protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with mobile tracking applications and digital documentation
