Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain temperature-controlled environments for sensitive shipments
- Document all transfers with electronic manifests and chain-of-custody forms
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety protocols
- Provide real-time tracking updates to dispatch and healthcare partners
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with healthcare staff for time-sensitive pickups/deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical/courier logistics
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
