Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, blood products, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation for all medical deliveries
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data confidentiality
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup and delivery schedules
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
- Manage inventory of medical packaging supplies and replenish as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1-year experience in medical courier or healthcare logistics
- Certification in biohazard handling and bloodborne pathogens training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate medical facilities
- Proficient with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
