Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials during transit
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain electronic tracking logs
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals and patients
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and biohazard safety standards at all times
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness
- Optimize routes to guarantee on-time deliveries across the Kansas City metro area
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical
- Experience with medical specimen transport or healthcare logistics preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple time-sensitive deliveries
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
