Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and sensitive healthcare materials following HIPAA protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for timely pickups and drop-offs
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness of transport equipment
- Adhere to strict temperature-controlled requirements for sensitive materials
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning and punctual deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical courier or healthcare logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling procedures
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
