Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, blood products, and medications in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation to optimize routes and ensure on-time deliveries to hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain clean, organized transport equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare staff during urgent pickups/deliveries
- Respond immediately to emergency delivery requests with urgency and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical/healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate hospital environments safely
- Strong attention to detail with precise documentation skills
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling and transport regulations
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
