Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab supplies between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain precise delivery logs and temperature-controlled chain-of-custody documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety protocols
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation for timely deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean transport equipment
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions via mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving or medical transport experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of Nashville metro area and major healthcare facilities
