Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle on designated local routes in Mesa, AZ.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged.
- Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures and documenting proof of delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and adhere to all vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card and necessary endorsements (e.g., Tanker, Hazmat).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and route management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
