Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated stops on a daily route.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and delivery receipts.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service at every delivery location.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
