Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in and around the Albuquerque area, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate drop-offs of goods to customers.
- Interact professionally with clients, taking orders and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in local delivery or truck driving.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional early starts or late finishes.
