As a Local Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders safely and on time. You will be representing the brand on every stop, making safety and customer service your top priorities.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes in the San Diego area.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently, ensuring all cargo is secure and protected from damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by following proper delivery protocols, including obtaining signatures and confirming delivery details.
- Utilize technology provided, such as handheld scanners and navigation apps, to optimize routes and track delivery status in real-time.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- U.S. Citizenship or Legal Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging hours and tracking deliveries.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
