Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses within the San Diego metropolitan area.
- Execute proper loading and unloading of merchandise using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling inquiries.
- Verify delivery details against the manifest and process necessary paperwork accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and inventory discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- A clean driving record (MVR check required; no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle inspections and troubleshooting.
