Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and retail goods to Fort Wayne residents and businesses
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize time efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain digital signatures for proof of delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and adjust routes dynamically
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Fort Wayne streets and surrounding neighborhoods
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and basic navigation tools
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for communication and delivery tracking
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
