Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial locations across Jacksonville
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle (provided) to ensure roadworthiness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate delivery status updates through mobile app in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Reliable personal vehicle (or access to one) for commuting to delivery hubs
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic knowledge of Jacksonville neighborhoods and roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening as required
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
