As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to our clients across the NYC metro area. We offer a modern work environment with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van or box truck to transport goods to designated addresses in the New York City area.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled with care.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and adhere to time schedules to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Handle cash or digital payments for COD deliveries when applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a clean standard driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations or DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with the streets of New York City and navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze) is highly preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts.
