As a Local Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. We offer a supportive work environment where your hard work is recognized and rewarded.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses within the Nashville area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are secure and accounted for using handheld scanners.
- Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures and maintaining detailed delivery logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and handling delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Park in designated areas and handle curbside delivery when requested by the customer.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld delivery devices.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate routes efficiently.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the designated depot.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
