Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Obey all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery issues with courtesy.
- Update delivery status in the tracking system accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld GPS devices or delivery apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
