Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to operate delivery vehicles and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Bakersfield.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures when necessary.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues on the spot.
- Accurately log delivery information and maintain daily logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle (if applicable) or access to a company vehicle.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
