Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods throughout Virginia Beach using company vehicles
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial drop-offs
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures where required
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or commercial driving background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with punctual delivery history
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Reliable transportation to and from designated depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
