Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and retail goods across Chicago neighborhoods
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution hubs
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
