Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Greater Boston with punctual accuracy
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and obtain customer signatures via digital tracking systems
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, resolving inquiries with professionalism
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to update delivery status and address route challenges
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with minimum 1 year clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and navigate multi-level buildings safely
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery technology
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving experience preferred
