Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses within Plano and surrounding areas
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Load/unload packages safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate delivery equipment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Excellent customer service orientation with professional communication skills
- Reliable transportation to and from designated depot location
- Must pass background check and drug screening
