Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to residential and commercial locations within NYC
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile tracking system and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and problem-solving
- Adhere to traffic laws and optimize routes for timely deliveries
- Assist with warehouse duties including sorting, loading, and inventory management
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update ETAs
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to operate box trucks, vans, or cargo vehicles up to 26ft
- Proven experience in local delivery, courier, or logistics roles
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Must pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs regularly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
