Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and documents to designated addresses within Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and accurate delivery records.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Handle packages with care to ensure they arrive in pristine condition.
- Familiarize yourself with the local geography of Long Beach to optimize delivery routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Proficient with mobile devices for navigation and logging deliveries.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
