Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical strategy for AI initiatives, specifically targeting the milestones and capabilities required for 2026.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure distributed systems for large-scale Machine Learning and Deep Learning workloads.
- Agentic AI Development: Lead the research and implementation of autonomous agent frameworks, focusing on reasoning, planning, and tool-use capabilities.
- Mentorship & Culture: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, providing technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Model Optimization: Oversee the full machine learning lifecycle, from experimental prototyping to model serving and optimization.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architectural role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; experience with distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Spark).
- AI Specialization: Proven track record of designing and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex system bottlenecks and optimize for latency and throughput.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
