Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026+ technology roadmaps
- Identify and integrate emerging tech (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AR/VR 3.0)
- Develop patentable innovation frameworks for sustainable solutions
- Partner with C-suite to align R&D with ESG and market disruption goals
- Manage $15M+ innovation budget across 3 global labs
- Present future-tech strategies to Fortune 500 clients and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years at director level
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Biotech, or Systems Engineering
- Proven track record launching 3+ patent-pending technologies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ members
