Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial customers.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and are not damaged.
- Verify delivery contents against the manifest and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow designated routes and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change (if applicable).
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
