Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial destinations within the Atlanta metro area.
- Inspect delivery vehicle before and after each shift to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues courteously.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or loss.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation, tracking, and logging proof of delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and electronic logging.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
