Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across Boston and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage
- Load/unload packages with care, verifying contents and maintaining delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Utilize our mobile app to track deliveries, update statuses, and communicate with dispatch
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pickup schedules and resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs in multi-story buildings
- Strong knowledge of Boston metropolitan area roads and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Professional communication skills and customer service experience preferred
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for mobile app usage
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
