Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to residential and commercial locations using company vehicles.
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology to minimize travel time and fuel costs.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including unloading assistance when needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle cash transactions for COD orders.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and update customers on ETAs.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years).
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and operate delivery equipment.
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery updates.
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations.
- Must be 21+ years old with ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends.
