Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/vans) adhering to DOT regulations and company protocols
- Transport freight to/from Miami, FL, and regional routes including NC
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and priority shipments
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling during transit
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Miami metro area and NC highway systems
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends for urgent deliveries
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
